Nearly Nude

Is nude a good look for everyone?  I’m not entirely convinced that it makes an effective impact on all skin tones.  Just imagining the masses of Hong Kongers walking around in nude shades makes me want to cringe.  Well, I guess everyone will need to address this spring trend at their own discretion…to each his (her) own!

I went to H&M this afternoon and bought these cute ballet flats (99HKD…roughly $12).  They’re the perfect shade of ballerina pink and you’d never guess that they’re not made from real leather.  Come to think of it, I should get a back-up pair for when these eventually get scuffed and fall apart.

Alexa Chung’s interpretation of nude neutrals.  I think she’s the bee’s-knees!

If only Olivia Palermo were a nice person…I’d be her number one fan.  Like anything else she wears, she looks gorgeous in nude.

I don’t know much about Kate Bosworth except that once upon a time she dated Orlando Bloom, got scary thin and wears more nude than anyone else on this planet. Aside from all that, I just love how dainty and nymph-like she is!
